SECRET SESSION
PRIME MINISTER REPORTS TO MOUSE ON HIS MISSION ABROAD. WAR SITUATION DISCUSSED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. On assembling last evening, the House of Representatives went into secret session. The following official report was issued late last night by the authority of the Speaker, Mr Barnard: — “The Prime Minister reported to the House qn his mission, abroad. He reviewed The progress of the war, including the actions in Greece and Crete, and the international situation. He dealt particularly with his personal investigations in Australia, the Netherlands East Indies, Thailand, Singapore, India. Iraq, Egypt, the United Kingdom, Canada and the United States. Questions of munitions, equipment, shipping, local defence and manpower were also discussed. Twelve other speakers took part in the discussion before the House rose at 11.52 p.m.”
