OBITUARY
MR JAMES SMITH. (Bv Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Obituary: Mr James Smith, late superintending engineer of the Union Steam Ship Co., aged 81. He had nearly fifty years’ service with the company, and was well known among the shipping community. He was a prominent member of the New Zealand Institute of Marine and Power Engineers. He is survived by a wife, two sons and a daughter.
