ST. JOHN AMBULANCE

DANCE ON SATURDAY NIGHT. Dance patrons are reminded that the St. John Ambulance Brigade will hold a dance in the Masonic Hall, Masterton. on Saturday night. The proceeds will be used towards purchasing emergency equipment. The music will be supplied by Jack Barnes’s full orchestra and the duties of M.C. will be carried out by Mr C. S. McQuade (cadet superintendent). Novelty dances will be held and special supper arrangements are being made. Popular prices are being charged. It is anticipated that local residents will give the function their usual support. BOOKS WANTED. The -Homo Nursing and First Aid classes held by the Nursing Division of the St. John Ambulance are handicapped by a shortage of text books and any person willing to lend books is asked to communicate with the secretary of the St. John Ambulance.
