MASTERTON FOOTBALL CLUB
MEETING OF MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. VISIT OF TEAM TO HUTT. The final meeting of the management committee cf the Mastertoil Football Club for the 1941 season was held last 'evening. There was a good attendance of members present. The coach of the Hutt fifth grade wrote advising that all arrangements had been made for the Masterton fourth grade team to visit the Hutt on Saturday. It was resolved that a subsidy be granted to the fourth grade team towards its travelling expenses to the Hutt. The Memorial Park lights were discussed and the secretary was instructed to consult the other two clubs concerned with a view to having the lighting committee business completed. The subscription list opened for Ralph Braggins was declared closed. The secretary was instructed to write to the Homewood football team thanking it for the hospitality extended to members during their two visits to Homewood during the season, and to suggest that if possible a game with Homewood be made an annual fixture. A vote of thanks was passed to Mr S. Fellingham and to the secretary, Mr N. Keightley, for their work in the interests of the club during the season. At the conclusion of the meeting those present were the guests of Mr and Mrs V. Grey at supper. A special vote of thanks was passed to Mr and Mrs Grey for their hospitality.
