This application was successful and enabled players to travel without drawing on their own private supplies. The Centre offered its thanks to the Masterion, Park, Carterton and Featherston clubs for the use of their greens for special events during the past season. The centre had given its hearty support to the Wanganui and Manawatu centres in their efforts to secure some representation for minor centres on the Dominion Bowling Council. Progress was being made toward remedying this grievance, and thanks were due to the two centres mentioned for their untiring efforts. The recommendation that permanent badges be given to winners of Championship games has had the consideration of the Executive, and the results would be placed before delegates at the annual meeting. Thanks were due to the hon. auditor, Mr J. F. Roberts, and the Press for their friendly co-op-eration. . . , The report is signed by the president,’ Mr G, Hayne.
