PLUNKET SOCIETY
MEETING IN MASTERTON YESTERDAY. PAST MONTH'S ACTIVITIES. The monthly meeting" of the Masterton branch of the Plunkot Society was held yesterday afternoon. In the absence of the president, Mrs J. Caselberg, Mrs T. Jordan presided. There were also present Mesdames J. D. O’Connor, A. F. Stewart, D. Donald, S. L. P. Free, J. V. Gordon, A. H. Falloon, E. G. Eton. J. James. lan Bunny, J. Broad, P. H. Nathan. C.‘ A. CarMne. Graham. Cowie. E. G. Norman, Keltic. T. F. Watson, J. M. Coradine, R. Miller. Apologies for absence were received from Mrs Caselberg (who is visiting Australia) and Mesdames R. C. Drummond, H. H. Daniell, E. J. Heffer, C. T. Richardson and T. W. Wardell. Accounts for £47 14s 5d were passed. Thanks were expressed to Mrs W. Dalziell for donations of woollen jackets and to Sally Dean for knitted dolls clothing. The nurse's report was as follows:— Masterton: Visits to office, adults 381. babies 355, pre-school children 43, total 779; visits to homes, new cases 36, old cases 116, total 152; pre-school children seen in homes 12, new cases for month 18. Out-stations.—Tinui sub-branch, Blairlogic, Langdale. Tinui, Annedale. 2 visits each; visits to homes, 26. Mauriceville sub-branch. — Kopuaranga, Mauriceville East and West, 2 visits each, Mangamahoe and Ihtiruau Valley, 1 visit each; new cases 2. visits, to new cases 2, old 28; pre-natal section, new cases 2. visits to rooms 8. Outside visits to homos 2, total 12.
