Demands for Free Hand in Asia PAPER SAYS BRITAIN AND UNITED STATES SHOULD WITHDRAW FORMATION OF HOSTILE FRONT ALLEGED LONDON, September 10. Mr Churchill’s recent reference to Japan has angered the Japanese Press. One paper states that Britain and the United States should withdraw from East Asia. Japan had not even dreamt of encroaching on the American or European continent.
