STATE THEATRE
“FOREIGN CORRESPONDENT.” One of the most thrilling and realistic pictures ever to be brought to the screen, and vividly depicting the treacherous methods of the Huns will be presented at the State Theatre tonight when “Foreign Correspondent” will be shown again as the result of numerous requests for a return presentation. When exhibited at the State Theatre some time ago the picture caused a sensation and kept the audience spellbound with its dramatic realism, and the high standard of the acting. There is nothing about the picture of a sordid nature, it being clean wholesome drama, which at the same time gives a clear Insight into the methods employed by the Germans in their effort to obtain control of the peoples of the various nations of the world. There is an entrancing love story associated with the picture, and altogether it is entertainment which picture patrons should appreciate. The many important scenes in the picture are on an elaborate scale, and are presented in a manner which should produce the greatest enthusiasm among the audience. There is a good supporting programme covering a variety of subjects.
