RABBITSKIN MARKET
DUNEDIN SALE. EXCEPTIONALLY STRONG DEMAND. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, September 9. The Dunedin Stock Agents and Woolbrokers’ Association reports that at today’s rabbitskin sale brokers submitted catalogues totalling about 47 tons. Demand was exceptionally strong for all descriptions, values all over showing improvement on late quotations. Outgoings and winters elicited keen competition and were on an average 3d to Gd dearer, the greatest appreciation being on does. All other grades sold readily at prices Id to 3d better. First winter bucks sold to 185 d, first winter docs 173 d, second winter bucks 176 d. second winter does 164 d, furrier does 156 d, spotted winter bucks 155 d, spotted winter does 154 d, outgoing winter bucks to 138 d, outgoing winter does 131 d.
