licensing committee. MEETING AT CARTERTON TODAY. ("Times-Age” Special.) A meeting of the Wairarapa Licensing Committee was held at Carterton this afternoon, there being present: Messrs H. P. Lawry (chairman), F. W. Wood, F. Smith, C. Skill, and W. C. M. Sorensen. Transfers of licenses were granted as follow; —Taueru Hotel to J. W. Griffiths; Club Hotel, Grey town, to Mr Frederick Higgins. This was the only business transacted.
