Britain’s heavy night offensive against Germany was continued last night, and of the powerful forces engaged not a single plane fell to the enemy defences. The main attack was against Kassel, where the extensive Henschel locomotive workshops are situated. Of nearly a hundred aircraft participating in the attack, the great majority report having reached their objectives and not a single aircraft is missing, although two members of one crew unfortunately lost their lives in an accident. The R.A.F. also attacked targets in Munster and other objectives in Western Germany, as well as docks at Cherbourg.
