MASTERTON SALE
KEEN COMPETITION RECORDED. SOME EARLY PRICES. There was a small yarding of fat sheep at the Masterton stock sale today. Competition was keen from a good bench of buyers. Prices were on a par with late rates. Early quotations are:— Pigs.—Wedners, 24s 6d. 255. Sheep—Fat ewes (shorn), 14s; fat lambs, 13s 6d; shorn wethers, 21s.
