WEDDING
FOREMAN—RENALL. DESCENDANTS OF PIONEER FAMILIES. (“Times-Age” Special.) At St. Mark’s Church, Carterton, recently, Myrtle Patricia, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs H. R. Renall, Kokatau, was married to Private Robert Rawie (Second N.Z.E.F.), youngest son of Mrs and the late Mr J. Foreman, of Ponatahi. The officiating minister was the Rev. W. F. Stent. 1 The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a beautiful white satin gown, the flowing skirt falling to an embroidered train. Her shower bouquet was touched with pink. A halo of orange blossom held the veil (kindly loaned by the bridegroom's neice, Mrs McMillian) who acted as Matron of Honour. Mrs McMillan’s frock was a beautiful powdered blue georgette, relieved with a crimson sash and trimmings. She wore a picture hat of blue net trimmed with crimson velvet flowers and carried a bouquet of crimson anemonies. The best man was Sergeant Renall, brother of the bride. After the marriage a reception was held in the Masonic Hall, Carterton, where the many guests were received by the bride’s mother. The bride chose navy and. white for her travelling frock. The honeymoon was spent in the north.
