BASKETBALL
LOCAL ASSOCIATION DRAW FOR FINAL MATCHES. SIX-A-SIDE TOURNEY TO BE HELD The following final matches will be played in connection with the Wairarapa Basketball Association’s competition on Saturday:—At 2.30 p.m., Carterton v Greytown, at Greytown; 2.15 p.m., Stars 11. v Greytown Hospital, at Masterton; 3 p.m., Collegians 11. v Masterton Hospital, at Hospital, referee, I. Shoosmith; Belvedere won by default from College 11. On September 13 a six-a-side tournament will be held. The arrangements are that all girls who wish to play must be at the College grounds at 1.45 p.m..and teams will be selected there. This should prove a novel ending to a successful season.
