ST. JOHN AMBULANCE

DANCE ON SEPTEMBER 13. The St. John Ambulance Brigade will hold a dance in the Masonic Hall, Masterton, on Saturday, September 13, when it is anticipated that there will be a large attendance. The music will be supplied by Jack Barnes’s Orchestra, and the duties of M.C. will be again carried out by Mr C. S. McQuade. the Cadet Division’s popular superintendent. Novelty dances will be held and supper v/ill be served. The proceeds will go towards assisting the Brigade to continue its work. In the Rugby football season which is drawing to a close the Brigade has rendered yeoman service. It is intended to send a team to Christchurch to compete in the Labour Day St. John Ambulance competitions.
