RAILWAY LINE BLOCKED MANY ARRESTS MADE. GERMAN OFFICER SHOT IN PARIS. i — (By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright) (Received This Day, 10.45 a.m.) VICHY, September 4. Saboteurs, by twisting rails at Lemans, blocked the main railway from Paris to Brittany for thirty hours. A number of railwaymen have been arrested. A German officer was shot in a Paris street last night. A German sergeant was also attacked with a revolver. The Germans took over the case from the French police and began a man hunt. GERMAN PATROL SHIPS SEEN ABLAZE OFF SWEDISH COAST. (Received This Day, 10.45 a.m.) STOCKHOLM, September 4. Violent explosions from a seaward direction awakened the inhabitant's of Bergen; Two German patrol vessels were seen ablaze off the coast. The explosions are believed to be the result of sabotage.
