NATIONAL PARTY CANDIDATE SELECTED. iP.v Telegraph—Press Association.) BLENHEIM. This Day. Mr Albert Henry Nees, a well-known Hillersden farmer, was selected last night as the National Party candidate for the Marlborough seat. There were two other aspirants, Messrs F. L. Lloyd and E. C. Lawrence. Mr Nees is prominent in local body circles, being a member of the Marlborough County Council, the Power Board and the Land Board.
