Nine enemy fighters were destroyed in today’s offensive operations by the R.A.F. over Northern France. Seven of ours are missing. The dock area at Rotterdam was attacked from a great height today by a Flying Fortress. Two enemy fighters which attempted to intercept the plane soon gave up. Two Messerschmitts were brought down over the Channel today by a young South African pilot. He destroyed the two machines within half a minute of each other.
