DAV OF PRAYER

SERVICE IN MASTERTON ON SUNDAY. PARADE OF HOME GUARD & E.P.S. It is anticipated that there will be a large and representative attendance at the special service of intercession in the Masterton Park on Sunday morning in accordance with the King's wish for the observance of a National Day of Prayer. A brief address will be given by the Rev. David McNetir, president of the Masterton Ministers Association. Members of E.P.S. units are asked to parade outside the Town Clerk’s Office, wearing armlets, at 9.15 a.m, and not at 9.30 o’clock as was previously announced. The narade will move off promptly at 9.30 o’clock. Members of the Home Guard will also parade at 9.15 a.m. at their respective drill halls. All Territorials and members, of the Independent Mounted Rifles will also parade on Sunday, falling in at the Drill Hall at 9.15 a.m. Dress uniform will be worn.
