Prices of fruit and vegetables in the Wellington market are quoted as follows: — Passion fruit, 12s to 22s a |-case; grapefruit, New Zealand, 7s to 12s a bushel case; lemons, Meyer, 8s to 15s a J-case; tree tomatoes, 5s to 17s 3d a i-case; mandarins, 18s to 27s a -J-case. Tomatoes, hothouse, Is 9d to 2s 6d a lb.; cucumbers, hothouse, 18s to 31s a dozen; green peas, Is 3d to Is 4Jd a lb.; pumpkins, Triumble, 12s to 18s 6d a sack; greys, 5s to 12s. Potatoes, 14s to 17s 6d a cwt.; Nelson, 3Jd a lb.; onions, 13s to 18s a cental bag; kumeras, 7s to 10s a sugarbag. Sprouts. 17s to 30s 6d a case; cabbage, 9s to 16s a sack; cauliflowers, 7s to 23s a sack; lettuce, 4s to 21s a case; cabbage, spring, 6s to Ils 6d a case; spinach, 13s to 26s a case; silver beet, 5s to 7s 9d a case. Leeks, 8s to 14s a case; parsnips, 8s to 13s 6d a case; swedes, 2s to 6s a case; beetroot, 4s to Ils a case; celery, Auckland, 16s to 29s a case; carrots, 6s to 10s 9d a case; rhubarb, 10s to 19s a dozen bunches.
