DEATH.
MACKAY—At 217 Chapel Street, Masterton, on September 2, 1941, Charlotte Ane, widow of John Graham Mackay, in her 95th year. No flowers. Private interment. “Send me no flowers when I am dead” — These are the words our dear one said — “Tho’ friends I thank you one and all For joy you gave me living. Of colourful and scented bloom, Your garden’s best oft giving; So if you've any flowers today, Still send them on their fragrant way To cheer the living.”
