LENINGRAD UNIVERSITY REOPENED STUDENTS TO WORK PART TIME IN FACTORIES. LENGTH OF COURSE REDUCED. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This. Day. 10.42 a.m.) RUGBY, August 31. An example of the way in which the Russians are endeavouring to combine their ordinary peace time duties with the requirements of war comes from Leningrad, where it is reported that the university Will open tomorrow with the five-year course reduced to three. Students will combine their studies with work in factories, in order to help to increase industrial output for the military strength of the city.
