The question of easing the shortage of silk stockings in the Dominion is still being investigated by the Government, according to a statement made last night by the Acting-Prime Minister, Mr Nash, who said that methods were being considered to obtain a more equitable distribution of the available supplies. Information was being sought from Great Britain regarding the possibility of importing additional supplies and also concerning distribution methods adopted there. '
