SILK STOCKINGS
DOMINION SHORTAGE MOVE BY GOVERNMENT. MORE EQUITABLE METHOD. OF DISTRIBUTION. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The question of easing the shortage of silk stockings in the Dominion is still being investigated by the Government, according to a statement made last night by the Acting-Prime Minister, Mr Nash, who said that methods were being considered to obtain a more equitable distribution of the available supplies. Information was being sought from Great Britain regarding the possibility of importing additional supplies and also concerning distribution methods adopted there. '
