SAVING WASTE

IMPORTANT MASTERTON INDUSTRY. Masterton has one waste-saving industry which has shown considerable progress and its proprietors have found it necessary to enlarge their factory and install more plant. It is apparent that the Rebuilt Tyre produced by the Reliance Tyre and Rubber Co. is something which not only avoids waste but has proved to be a sound .investment. From actual tests they are giving as good mileage as that of a new tyre at less than half the price, and the fact that this company is a contractor to the New Zealand Government for rebuilding the Air Force, Public Works, and P. and T. Department tyres is a definite indication of the quality of the local product.*
