ATTACK ON LAVAL
POLICE INVESTIGATIONS. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 1.20 p.m.) LONDON, August 29. The police are investigating Paul Colette’s home at Caen and say he fought with the British at Dunkirk and. [ was evacuated to Britain with the Bri(tish troops. He returned to France and had since tried to return to Britain, presumably to join the Free French.
Paul Colette is the man who shot Pierre Laval and Marcel Deat.
