COSY THEAIRE
TWO FEATURE PROGRAMME. “Mad About Music’’ and “Risky Business,” will conclude their season at the Cosy Theatre tonight. COMING TOMORROW. The famous Warner Bros. “Dead End” kids, are the stars’of “Hell’s Kitchen,” opening at the Cosy Theatre tomorrow. In their newest picture, they turn the tables by turning reformers. Aiding and abetting are Stanley Fields, Margaret Lindsay and Ronald Reagan. Fields is an old racketeer whose gaol sentence has been suspended upon his good behaviour. When helping to run the Hudson Shelter for Boys, he learns that the children are not only horribly abused by the head of the institution but that most of the charitable contributions go directly into the pockets of the head. A young and pretty teacher at the plgce, Miss Lindsay, arouses his interest in the children, and he establishes a new regime with the boys governing themselves. He is soon forced to flee from arrest, but surrenders himself so that he can help in exposing the conditions which led to the abuse of the youngsters.
The associate feature is “Across the Sierras,” starring Bill Elliott in the <«ple in which he has become so popular. Wild Bill Hickok. He plays the part of the toughest hombre in the West on the warpath. For action and thrills the programme is second to none.
