SMALL FORT CAPTURED IN ABYSSINIA. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 11.10 a.m.) RUGBY, August 27. A Cairo Headquarters communique states: “As the result of the activity of our patrols in the frontier area the enemy opened up artillery fire. There is no change at Tobruk. “In the Wolkefit area (in Abyssinia) a small detachment, co-operating with Ethiopian- patrols, successfully attacked an enemy fort, capturing seven Italians and several machine-guns.”
