CHILDREN’S PARTY

HAPPY GATHERING AT Y.M.C.A. MANY COLOURFUL FANCY DRESSES. There was a merry scene in the games hall at the Masterton Y.M.C.A. building last night when a children’s party was held. There was an attendance of about 130 children. The cheerful atmosphere in the hall was a pleasant contrast to the severe weather outside. The colourful fancy dresses worn by the children added to the brightness in evidence. Under the able direction of Mr E. Coddington Junr.. proceedings were kept moving at a fast pace. Folk dancing. songs and games were fully enjoyed by those present. Supper was served by members of the Ladies’ Auxiliary.
