PASSAGE ACROSS ATLANTIC IN BOMBER. STAYING IN BRITAIN ABOUT THREE WEEKS. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day. 9.50 a.m.) RUGBY, August 22. Travelling across the Atlantic in a bomber, the British Ambassador to Washington, Viscount Halifax, arrived at an aerodrome near London this afternoon. Accompanying him on the journey were four American naval officers, who were officially welcomed on behalf of the Prime Minister. Lord Halifax expects to be in Britain for about three weeks.
