MAN KILLED IN SOUTHERN HAWKE’S BAY. CAR GOES OVER BANK. (Bv Telegraph—Press Association.) DANNEVIRKE. This Day. When returning to Waione, from a dance at Weber, a car containing three persons went over a bank early this morning into a creek, resulting in the death of Edward John Moriarty, farm hand, a single man of about 32, who was recently called up in an overseas ballot. It is believed that Moriarty was gendered unconscious and was drowned. The others sustained minor injuries.
