“THE WAY OF ALL FLESH.” How a man whose entire life has been lived in rigid conformance with his own steadfast, almost fanatical belief in the highest moral standards in behaviour, recklessly disregards these principals to revel in a mad round of self-indulgence , provides the basic theme for the vastly interesting and provocative Paramount drama, “The Way of all Flesh,” which opens tonight at the Regent Theatre. Here is an intriguing adventure into the psychological. It propounds the ever-debatable question: Is there inherent in every average man, buried in his subsonscious mind, the human weakness that makes him fair and easy prey for a pretty face and agreeable companionship, but' which rarely discloses itself until temptation in some attractive form confronts him? In the role of Paul Kriza, a small town bank cashier, deeply in. love with his wife and four children, supremely contented with his life, his job and, perhaps more importantly, with himself, Akim Tamiroff, who is featured in the picture with Gladys George, William Henry and Muriel Angelas, gives one of his most vivid characterisations, out of a career that has been studded with artistic triumphs.
