SPINNING & WEAVING

ART CLUB TALK TOMORROW NIGHT.

In war time, when the duty of those on the home front is to economise and make things themselves to the greatest possible extent, considerable attention is given by many women to the spinning of wool and weaving of cloth. The amateur is faced by difficulties and problems. Tomorrow night in the Bannister Street Hall, under the auspices of the Masterton Art Club, Mrs F. C. Brockett will give a talk on spinning and weaving, to which interested members of the public are invited. Mrs Brockett’s knowledge and experience of this craft should be a valuable help to anyone who wishes to take up spinning and weaving as a war effort.
