EXCELLENT CONCERT

PRESENTED IN PARISH HALL

BY ST. MATTHEW’S GIRLS’ CLUB.

LARGE AUDIENCE DELIGHTED

An excellent programme presented by St. Matthew’s Girls’ Club in the Parish Hall last night delighted a large and appreciative audience. There were three well-chosen plays full of amusing situations and witty dialogue and the talented young players, trained by Mrs E. J. Rich, presented them to advantage. Musical and elocutionary items by club members and interesting films by Mr W. 11. Saunders completed the programme. Before the final chorus the Ven. Archdeacon E. J, Rich congratulated the club on the high standard attained.

Those taking part were: Misses E. Thomas, J. Watkins, E. Corskie, P. Croad, M. Blatchford, J. Manson, D. Maimsell, V: Rich, D. Wagg, M. Fulton, B. Judd, C. Lambert, J. Yelverton, I. Macdonald, and I. Fulton.
