Nicolas, Roman Catholic Titular Bishop of Panopolis and VicarApostolic of Fiji. MRS ANNIE MARIA HILL. The death occurred at her residence, 78 Worksop Road, Masterton. last night, of Mrs Annie Maria Hill, widow of (he late Mr Henry Hill. The late Mrs Hill, who was 68 years of age, had resided in Masterton and district fox’ many years. Her husband predeiceased*her three months ago. The funeral will take place on Monday, leaving the Chapel of Hyde’s Funeral Service Ltd., following a service at 2 p.m. for the Masterton Ce- , metery. MR J. E. BROADBENT. Mr John Edward Broadbent, of Mauriceville, died yesterday at the age of 78 years. The late Mr Broadbent had been in ill health for the past ten years. He was born in England and came cut to New Zealand with his mother when he was seven years of age. Since his arrival in this country he had resided in the Wairarapa district and at one time was engaged in contract work in the Tinui district, where he was well known as a driver of horse waggons. For many years he was employed by the Mauriceville County Council and resided for 'a period at Kaiparoro and lately at Mauriceville. Ha is survived by a widow and family'Vf three sons and eight daughters, three being by his first marriage. The funeral will take place on Monday. leaving the chapel of Hyde’s Funeral Service, Ltd., following a service at 11 a.m. for the Masterton cemetery.
