MURDER IN SHANGHAI
BANK MANAGER KILLED
PASSER-BY SHARES SAME FATE.
FIVE GUNMEN CAPTURED. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day. 12.20 p.m.) SHANGHAI. Auguust 15. Chinese gunmen assassinated Mr Kennson Geo. manager of the Hochung Bank, when he was entering the American Club.
In an ensuing battle with the police, one passer-by was killed and six other persons wounded. The five assassins, who arc partisans of the Nanking regime, were captured. Mr Gee favoured the Nanking regime.
