JAPANESE TROOPS MOVING INTO CAMBODIA ASSURANCES RECEIVED. FROM BRITAIN AND U.S.A. LONDON. August 14. The Japanese occupation of IndoChina is being extended. Japanese troops are now entering Cambodia, the province adjoining Thailand. Thailand has been heartened by the statements from London and Washington and no longer feels that she is isolated. Further economic action against Japan was announced today. The Board of Trade has forbidden the export of goods to Japanese ports except- under licence, as from tomorrow.
