The President of the United States, Mr Roosevelt, and the Prime Minister of Britain, Mr Churchill, having met at sea, have made known certain common principles in the national policies cf their respective countries on which they base their hope for a better future for the world. The question of munitions supply was also discussed. A statement covering the meeting’ and the principles enunciated by the two leaders has been issued by the British Government. It was released to the Press -early this morning by the Acting-Prime Minister, Mr Nash, who said that no more epoch-making document had been issued in recent times. The statement is as follows:—
