ENEMY AIR ATTACKS ON BRITAIN.
LITTLE DAMAGE AND FEW CASUALTIES.
(British Official Wireless.) (Received This Dav. 12.25 p.m.) RUGBY, August 13.
An Air Ministry and Ministry of Home Security communique states: “This morning one or two enemy aircraft crossed the north-east coast and dropped bombs at points a short distance -inland. No extensive damage was done but there were a small number of casualties. Elsewhere there was very little enemy activity and no bombs are reported.
NAZI CLAIMS
(Received This Day, 12.25 p.m.) LONDON, August 13
A German communique states: “The Luftwaffe last night attacked an arms works at Birmingham and port installations at Great Yarmouth and Ramsgate.”
