FROM TORPEDOED BRITISH SHIPS. PICKED UP BY PORTUGUESE STEAMER. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.25 p.m.) LONDON, August 13. The Vichy news agency says the Portuguese steamer Tarrafal has picked up 110 survivors from two torpedoed British freighters, the Dongall and Silveryew. The captain and two members cf the crew of the Silveryew were killed by an explosion. Those rescued included survivors picked up from British ships previously torpedoed.
