SITTING OF WAIRARAPA COMMITTEE EKETAHUNA APPEALS. POSTPONEMENTS OF TERRITORIAL SERVICE. (“Times-Age” Special.) A sitting of the Wairarapa Man Power Committee was held at Eketahuna yesterday, when appeals relating to the postponement of Territorial service were heard. There were present Messrs T. Jordan (chairman), L. T. Daniell, F. Cole and the secretary, Mr Whitlock. Postponements’ were granted in the following cases: Gordon John Drysdale, cheesemaker (co-appellant. Nireaha Dairy Company), to April 30, 1942; Alan Donald Butler, cheesemaker (coappellant Nireaha Dairy Company), to April 30, 1942; Noel Robert Schnell, farm hand (co-appellant Charles Schnell), to April 30, 1942; John Horace Fargher. dairy farmer (co-appellant Director of National Service) to February 28, 1942; Peter Benjamin Sigvertsen, farm hand (co-appellant Jans Petei’ Sigvertsen) to April 30, 1942; Charles Liverton, farmer, on his own behalf, to December 31, 1941; Hugh Ralph Littler, farm hand (co-appellant Director of National Service) to February 28, 1942; Sydney Campbell Houston, dairy farmer, on his own behalf, to March 31, 1942; Edward Barrie Anderson, farm hand (co-appellant Director of National Service) to March 31, 1942; John Ellison Palmer, farm hand (co-appellant Arthur Ellison Palmer) to March 31, 1942; Maurice Ivor Daldy, farm hand (co-appellant Ernest Reese Daldy) to December 31, 1941; Bernard Augustus Dougherty, farm hand (coappellant Augustus Patrick Dougherty) to April 30, 1942. Sine die adjournments were granted in the following cases: Desmond Colin Goggin, farm hand (co-appellant Francis M. Goggin); John Nagel, farm hand (co-appellant Olive Harriet Nagel); Peter Lawrence Bartosh, i'arm’er (co-appellant Martha Bartosh). An adjournment was granted in the following case: Cecil George Udy, farm hand (Director of National Service) to January 30, 1942.
