SOVIET STATEMENT
NO IMPORTANT CHANGE ON EASTERN FRONT RED AIR FORCE DESTROYS VITAL BRIDGE. ACROSS LOWER DANUBE. LONDON, August 11. A Russian communique admits no progress by the Germans, stating that there is no important change on the eastern front. A vital bridge across the Danube in Rumania, linking Constanta with the interior of Rumania, has been wrecked as the result of a Russian air attack.
