SAVAGE CLUB
RAID BY CARTERTON TRIBE. GATHERING IN MASTERTON. There was a large attendance at a Savage Club gathering in Masterton cn Saturlay night when members of the Waiohine (Carterton) Club raided the Hamua (Masterton) Club. The visiting chief, Mr S. T. Rooney, was installed by the Hamua chief, Mr F. Price. The following was the programme: Orchestra, Polcnnaise and Minuet; recitation, Deputy Chief C. K. Goodin; vocal solo, Savage H. B. Keenan; humorous sketch, “Professor Gadgets inventions,” Savage R. Porter;. vocal solo, Savage M. Ardrey; orchestra, march from “Taunhauser," “Marche Militairo”; musical monologue, "The Disastrous Voyage." and “Misunderstood,” Big Chief S. T. Rooney; instrumental, Savage P. L. Darko; vocal solo, Savage L. J. Loftus. Messrs L. Sowman (Wellington) and K. Percy (Masterton) were present as guests,
