CHURCH SERVICES

The services at the Masterton Presbyterian Church and at Kaituna tomorrow will be conducted by the Rev .John

Davie. A short community sing will be held immediately before the evening service. At the close of the evening service the Rev. J. L. Gray, who is on furlough from India, will give a cinema talk on India in the McGregor Hall. The Holy Communion will be celebrated at St. Matthew’s Church. Masterton, tomorrow, and also at Kuripuni at 8 a.m. Archdeacon Rich will be the preacher both morning and evening at St. Matthew’s Church. The Rev. H. Taepa will conduct the evening service at Upper Plain, and Mr J. F. Jaine that at Kuripuni. The services at the Salvation Army Citadel tomorrow will be conducted by Major and Mrs Ransom. The services at the Lansdowne Presbyterian Church tomorrow will be conducted by the Rev. D. McNeur, who will also preach at Mauriceville West in the afternoon. The Eketahuna service will be conducted by the Rev J. L. Gray, a missionary from India. The services at the Methodist Church tomorrow will be conducted by the Rev. H. S. Kings. There will be a special thanksgiving service in the afternoon, and members of the Wellington and Wairarapa Bible Class Unions will take part. The sacrament of the Lord’s Supper will be observed at the evening service. At Rangitumau the service will be conducted by Mr C. R. Goudge. Mr F. G. Rutter will be the preacher in the evening at the Kuripuni Methodist Church. The service of the Baptist Fellowship, to be held in the Y.M.C.A. room at 11 o’clock tomorrow morning, will be conducted by Major Dick, of the Whatman Home. The Sunday School and Bible Class will commence at 10 a.m. Members of the Fellowship are requested to meet after the service for the consideration of special business. The Church of Christ services tomorrow will be held at 11 a.m. and 2.30 p.m.
