HASTWELL
GREEN & GOLD BALL PATRIOTIC GATHERING. (“Times-Age” Special.) Dancers from all parts of the Wairarapa and from as far afield as Pahiatua, Dannevirke and Pirinoa, were present at the Green and Gold Patriotic Ball, held at Hastwell last night. A feature of the gathering was the crowning ceremony. Pool’s Blue River Dance Band provided excellent music and a splendid supper was served. The gathering was a most successful one in every way.
