R.A.F. awards include that of the Distinguished Flying Medal to a New Zealander, Sergeant Reginald Joseph Cowan Grant, of the No. 145 Squadron, The citation stales that Sergeant Grant has taken part in twenty-two operations over enemy territory and has destroyed two enemy planes and damaged several others.
