Prices of fruit and vegetables in the Wellington markets are quoted as follows: —Passion fruit, 16s 6d io 34s a half case. Grapefruit, New Zealand, 6s to 12s a bushel case. Lemons, Meyer, 8s to 14s 3d a half case. Chinese gooseberries, 12s to 17s a half case. Tree tomatoes, 6s to Ils' 3d a half case. Tomatoes: Hothouse, Is 6d to 2s a lb. Green peas, Is 4d a lb. Pumpkins, 3s to 13s a sack. Potatoes, Ils 6d to 15s a cwt.; Nelson, 3d to 31d a lb. Onions, 10s to 14s a cental bag. Kumeras, 6s to 8s 6d a sugar bag. Cabbage, 2s 6d to 9s a sack. Cauliflowers, 4s to 10s 6d a sack. Lettuce, 5s to 12s a case. Cabbage, spring, 4s to Ils a case. Silver beet, Is 6d to 4s 9d a case. Marrows, 5s to 8s 6d a case. Leeks, 8s to 13s a case. Parsnips, 10s to 16s 6d a case. Swedes, 3s to 5s a case. Carrots, 4s to 12s 6d a case. Beetroot, 5s to 8s 6d a case. Celerv, Auckland, 4s to 20s a case; local, 6s to 10s 6d. Rhubarb, 14s to 27s a dozen bunches.
