LOCAL COMPETITIONS LAST NIGHT’S RESULTS. W.F.C.A. DEFEAT WOOLWORTHS. The indoor basketball championship games played in the Y.M.C.A. last evening before a packed house proved, for the most part, exciting. The major surprise was the defeat of McKenzies by McDuffs in the ladies' E grade. In the ladies’ A grade, W.F.C.A., by defeating Woolworths, increased their lead in the championship to three points. In the junior section State Kitchenette B seccured a win over Tattons. The most interesting men’s game was between W.F.C.A. and State Kitchenette, the former team winning by 11 goals to 7.
