YOUNG INSURANCE AGENT SENT TO GAOL. (By Telegranh—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. A sentence of twelve months’ reformative detention was passed on John Joseph Graham, a young insurance agent of Timaru, by Mr Justice Northcrofc, in the Supreme Court today. The prisoner had pleaded guilty to seven charges of theft from his employers, the Colonial Mutual Life Assurance Society, involving the sum of £486 12s 2d. The court was informed today that the prisoner had also made a confession to matters involving approximately £4OO. additional to the money mentioned in the charges.
