Hoping to achieve an early victory, the Germans at the outbreak of war with Russia threw in two to three times the numerical strength of Russian forces stationed on the RussianGerman frontier, the “Pravda” states. A fierce struggle lies ahead, but Russia, confidently looks io the future, because her resistance is growing and daily her counterblows are gaining strength and force.
