Misses M. and I. McLaren, of Masterton, are visiting Auckland. Mrs H. Miller, Auckland, is the guest of her mother, Mrs W. T. Eoyd, of Pahiatua. The death occurred at Christchurch yesterday of Miss Kathleen Edith Innes-Jones, eldest daughter of the late Archdeacon A. S. Innes-Jones. Mrs P. J. Shirkey (nee Peggy Burgess) of Pahiatua, whose death occurred at the Masterton Hospital, was a former well-known Bush representative hockey player. She was 22 years of age, and leaves a husband and one child.
